Breakfast Pizza

Introduction

Here at Tasha J Fitness, we love tasty food that is allows us to stay fit. This recipe helps satisfy your tastebuds as well as maintain healthy nutrition avoiding many common pitfalls. Another plus is that its straightforward, quick and simple. Let's get cooking, so we can get eating!

How to Make?

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Pull out a baking sheet or pizza baking pan, line with parchament paper, and put a tortilla on it.  Set this pan aside.

  • Step 2: Place a skillet on the stove and turn it on medium heat.  Allowing it to heat (1 -2 minutes).

  • Step 3: While skillet is heating up, in a small bowl, wisk together egg, salt, pepper, and almond milk.  As well, place   a tortilla on a piece of parchment paper and put on the baking sheet.

  • Step 4: Lightly spray skillet with olive oil spray and then add in the scrambled egg mixture. Cook for about 3 minutes or until fluffy. Break up the egg in to smaller crumbles about the size of a dime with your spatula.  This doesn't have to be perfect. 

  • Step 5:  Turn skillet off leaving scrambled egg crumbles in the skillet to keep them warm while you prepare your tortilla.

  • Step 6: Return to your tortilla on the parchment paper sitting in your pan.  As a base layer, spread an even, thin layer of cream cheese on it.  Be sure to follow the circular shape out to the edges. 

  • Step 7:  Sprinkle half the shredded cheese and bacon on top of the cream cheese, next sprinkle the egg on top (feel free to reserve some egg if it seems to thick for you), and then sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese and bacon on top of the egg. 

  • Step 8:  Put pan in the oven and bake for 10 minutes (or until cheese has melted).

  • Step 9: Cut into for pieces with a pizza cutter and Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Baking sheet or pizza pan

  • Parchament paper

  • Pizza cutter

  • Whole wheat tortilla (preferably high fiber, low fat, low carb...We love Mission Carb balance)

  • 1 tsp Jalapeno Cream Chesse 

  • 1/8 cup Shredded Cheese (we love a nice Italian blend) 

  • 1 Scrambled Egg (per pizza):

  • One shake of salt 

  • One shake of pepper

  • Splash Almond Milk

  • 1 piece of Bacon (chopped)
